This year, Mental Health America (MHA) is celebrating 70 years of mental health awareness. Throughout these years, MHA has reached millions of people through media, local events and screenings.

This May is Mental Health Month and Mental Health America of the MidSouth is highlighting #Tools2Thrive which explores topics such as owning your own feelings, finding the positive, connecting with others, individually prioritizing mental health, creating healthy routines and supporting others. These tools are sure to help in everyday life when coping with mental health conditions.

Everyone has tools they use to keep themselves mentally healthy, but they are all different. It is important to develop your own #Tools2Thrive so it is possible to find balance between work and play, the ups and downs of life, and physical and mental health.

There are many ways to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Month.
